As a non-profit organization based in San Pedro, HealthView, Inc. supports clients throughout Southern California. Through our two primary agencies we provide residential, rehabilitative, nursing and mental healthcare services to a wide range of constituents.
How We Serve
HARBOR VIEW HOUSE
Harbor View House is the largest non-profit board and care facility serving the mentally ill in California. Comprehensive programs and services address the personal, social, psychological, health, and psychiatric needs of adult residents who are severely and persistently mentally ill. Serving over 287 residents, both male and female,18 years of age and over, Harbor View House offers two levels of care: an Adult Residential Care Facility (ARF) and an Intermediate Nursing Care Facility (ICF).
While there is no cure for those suffering from mental illness, we at Harbor View House believe the innovative and varied approaches we offer represent the greatest opportunity for those with these devastating diseases to achieve their highest potential of functioning and independence. Our goal is to provide not only housing, meals, medications and supervision, but also a place where residents can feel safe, stable and cared for. A place where they can see their doctor or psychiatrist, receive vision and dental care, participate in drug and alcohol programs, receive physical and occupational therapy services, or get a job in the resident work program. A place where they can express their creative side through activities, art and music. And lastly, it’s a place they can call home.

Through various State and County contracts, grants and private donations, we have been able to extend HarborView House services beyond its residents and into the community via our Behavioral Services Center located at our HarborView House facility. More »
